The Key Resonance is an ongoing personal project which takes many forms and at its core is inspired by Hannah’s interest in music’s ability to bring about meditative and trance like states of mind.
The project started out life as a string quartet performing works by Arvo Pärt. Hannah then went on to commission a piece for solo cello and electronics called indefinite places by composer Chris Persaud.
In 2018, Hannah returned to perform under the banner of ‘The Key Resonance’ in a collaboration with modular electronic artist AS2o3 (Lars Kivig) mixing improvisatory soundscapes with solo cello pieces by Saariaho, Tavener, Nørgård and Philip Glass.
For Copenhagen’s Culture Night 2019, she curated a series of site-specific solo improvisations for the 19th century bathhouse, Sofiebadet.
More recently, Hannah has been providing live music to accompany yoga classes, cooperate courses in mindfulness and sound baths.
