About
I am an experienced and creative musician who takes an intuitive approach to music education. I have been teaching since 2010 and have taught people of all ages, levels and backgrounds. I take joy in helping my students not only learn how to play music and become technically accomplished, but also how to achieve a greater understanding of themselves and the way they use their body.

Experience
- Teaching in Schools
I have taught both cello and violin in the UK and in Denmark. This has included group and individual tuition to children aged between 5-18 in schools and specialist performing arts centres. I also received a variety of teacher training as part of my conservatoire education and in connection with my work at the Wandsworth School’s Music Service in London. I’m currently employed as a cello teacher at Byens Musikskole.
- Teaching at Conservatoire Level
I have been working as an assistant to my previous teacher Jakob Kullberg since 2016. This has included tutoring and mentoring his cello class of Bachelor and Master’s students at the Royal College of Music in London as well as helping to document his unique process of teaching technique. In 2021 I received my Masters of Education from the Royal College of Music. The focus of my dissertation was teaching conservatoire students with the Dalcroze Method.
- Directing Ensembles
I completed two years of conducting and arranging studies as part of my Bachelor degree which provided me with a solid understanding of ensemble playing and awakened an interest in leading and working with string ensembles. I worked for 5 years as a strings advisor and assistant conductor for ‘The Learning Orchestra’ in London and currently lead regular chamber music rehearsals for my private students.
Cello Lessons in Copenhagen / NordsjƦlland
I teach my private students in NĆørrebro at the place called Kammerklubben marked on the map below (69 Ćrnevej) as well as at my home in Farum.
If you are a beginner, please read my Getting Started Guide for advice on buying cellos.
For children, I’d recommend to sign up for lessons through Byens Musikskole, where lessons take place at Langelinie Skole (close to Ćsterport Station) on Tuesdays.
Lessons are available in English or Danish.
